So begins the much anticipated holiday in which I shall be continuing to read and read and read some more, I have been thinking that what I need is a more specific aspect of Caesars life to research because, I believe that doing his entire life and comparing texts will be to much reading and just to difficult to gather enough sources in which I can write a detailed essay.
A couple of thoughts for this are, just his military achievements and strategies in battle. His relations (children, wives, lovers etc.) or maybe how he is presented as a person in the Colleen McCollough books, as in was he intelligent, arrogant, kind, cruel, and how does this differ to other sources.
