However these sites all differ in the information so not too sure what I should do about this, whether to keept investigating hoping to find accurate information.
Also reading a wiki page on Plutarch I found this
However, this Life shows few differences between Suetonius' work and Caesar's own works (see De Bello Gallico and De Bello Civili). Sometimes, Plutarch quotes directly from the De Bello Gallico and even tell us of the moments when Caesar was dictating his works.
This I hope isn't true because I have yet to read Plutarch's account of the life of Caesar, but if they are very similar I do not know what to do as I have no idea to right an essay on if the two texts I'm comparing are very similar.
There are a number of books about ancient historians which would have chapters on Suetonius and Plutarch I think.
